Tiffani Swalley (she/they) is a Southern transplant from Knoxville, Tennessee. Tiffani recently graduated with their Master's in Directing from Columbia University (2024) where they studied alongside mentor Anne Bogart.

After graduation, Tiffani was Assistant Director on Broadway's The Thanksgiving Play (Directed by Rachel Chavkin) and Broadway's Hadestown (Associate Director), The First US National Tour of Hadestown (Associate Director) and most recently The First Australian Tour of Hadestown which opened to rave reviews this February (Director).

Tiffani's recent directing includes: Medea by Ben Power, Queen of the Hive, MacBeth, God & Girl (by Emma Schillage), and An Evening of Chekhov's Vaudevilles. Their work has been featured at New York City Fringe Festival, The United Solo Festival NYC and The Second City Chicago where she spent a decade performing, directing, teaching sketch and improvisational comedy.

As an artist, Tiffani is drawn to highly collaborative, experimentally immersive, non-binary and soul-examining events. Art should be a communal experience both on and off stage, during the rehearsal process and with an audience when they arrive. She also enjoys a terrible pun.
